Bassem Bouferguine has been a senior consultant in industrial risk management since 2019, specialising in the oil and chemical industries. He worked for 9 years at the Ministry of Industry in Tunisia (equivalent to the DREAL in France), as an environmental protection (ICPE) inspector, an assessor of hazard studies (EDD) and internal operation plans (POI) and a project manager for regulatory texts on environmental protection (ICPE).

In addition to his skills in the field of industrial safety, he held the position of QSE (Quality, Safety and Environment) Manager at an oil site for 4 years. This position provided him with new skills in QSE management, risk management, organisation and intervention in the event of industrial accidents, and oil site operations.

Last but not least, Bassem has been providing training in industrial risks, in the preparation of hazard studies and internal operation plans, as well as in the simulation of industrial accidents using simulation software. Since 2023, he has been working for Seiya Engineering as a risk management engineer for hydrogen facilities.
